Only R 1,860.00 per PersonFirst Aid Level 3 is a comprehensive first aid training course. All first aid topics are covered in the Level 3 First Aid training course. Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the correct use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) are essential skills emphasized to save a person's life in a medical emergency. This is the ideal first aid training course for persons in hazardous working environments or living in areas where medical care is not readily accessible.

First Aid Level 3 has also been accredited for 13 general CPD points and another 2 points for ethics by the University of Johannesburg. These points can be earned by anyone who is not working in an accute setting like a hospital or an ambulance or any other emergency medicine discipline. The completion and submission of a portfolio of evidince is compulsary. Doing levels 1 and 2 first aid can earn you additional CPD points.

First Aid Level 3 Course Content:

CPR and the use of an AED are extremely important aspects of this course, the latest evidence based research from the American Heart Association proves that early CPR and use of an AED can safe a persons life in an emergency situation. First Aid Level 3 Course Duration:

This exciting first aid course is presented over 40 hours. Facilitation therefore takes place over five consecutive days.

First Aid Level 3 Course Fees Include:

A First Aid student manual with key pouch, gloves and mouth piece are provided. On successful completion course participants are issued with a First Aid Level 3 certificate valid for 3 years.

First Aid Level 3 Course Participation Requirements:

  • Training course participants must be able to read, write and understand English and have basic math skills.
  • Evaluation requirements includes a written test as and practical skill test on two person CPR with an AED.
